Neurodevelopment and Behavior in Down syndrome
Brief Research Description
I am involved in clinical research and evaluation and treatment of children with Down syndrome. My overall research goals are to better understand neurobiological mechanisms of learning, memory, and behavior in Down syndrome; to improve diagnosis and characterization of neurodevelopmental profiles, including co-occurring autism spectrum disorder and ADHD; and to explore educational strategies and behavioral and medical interventions for individuals with Down syndrome.
