What is your main research focus?
The molecular and cellular interfaces between circadian rhythms and neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative disorders
What led you to pursue research career and/or interest in IDD?
I’ve always been fascinated by how the brain works and moved by a desire to help kids dealing with challenges to that function
Any comments on the services of a core/or particular equipment that advances your current research?
My laboratory benefits from a variety of different IDDRC cores including Cellular Imaging, Mouse Manipulation, the Biobehavioral Core
Are you interested in collaborating or offering any collaborative opportunities?
Always interested in collaborating. There are major interactions between the circadian system and neurodevelopmental disorders that have barely been explored and tapped for therapeutic benefit.
Something fun/personal
I love to play the piano. I’ve been told that I do good impressions (but I won’t say of whom).
