1.  To understand the complex dynamic mechanisms of inflammation after intracerebral hemorrhage.

2.  To appreciate the importance of macrophages in recovery after intracerebral hemorrhage.

3.  To understand the basic approached to studying neuroinflammatory responses after brain injury
